Krahan, did you read the setting? Yliakum is located in a giant stalactite inside an even more giant cave. The stalactite has eight levels, two of them are submerged by water. There are no big lakes on any of the others, and there are no dry spots on the two lowest levels. Therefore, there can\'t be another continent. Furthermore, you can\'t go anywhere by boat or flight because of this. The only ways to get to another place are
- through the vast stone labyrinth which is accessible through doors at the top level. This can lead to other Yliakum-like places if they exist, inhabited caves, the surface at various places or even the DR
- through magical portals, of which two are known to exist, one inside Yliakum and one inside the stone labyrinth. These can obviously lead anywhere, from the surface to different universes. Actually, at least one of Yliakums species (the Klyros) has come through one of these portals.

Therefore, this land will not be reachable by conventional means, but only by the two described above.

Sorry for not using planeshift terms.  BUt since they don\'t have a term for dog or gold let me clarify a few things.  

Gold is any valuable substance in planeshift.  

Dog is any monster that can pull a sled.  

X is any thing with a planeshift equivalent.  I hope this makes this easier.

The point is the concept or idea.   If I started using words like carfargulated you wouldn\'t have a clue as to what I was talking about.  However, if I used words like dog, horse, or gold you have a clear understanding of the topic on hand.
