Although this is not an in-game feature, this forum seemed the best place for this request (if wrong forum, please re-direct):
My linux distribution - Ubuntu, comes with a package manager called synaptic (front end for apt), and if there was a repository for Planeshift, it would be very beneficial. I run a couple hundred different linux apps and have never found a distribution or setup that has enabled me to run Planeshift in linux (either from manually compiling molecular blue and all deps, to linux binaries provided by the development team).
I logged on to Planeshift half a dozen times a long time ago (only in windows), and was suitable impressed with what I would consider to be the most advance open-source game there is. Seeing as debian based distributions are normally all encompassing, this would be a great game to include as an option for distribution. If not something as large as that scope, just some deb files or a repository mainted by the planeshift team would be useful to Ubuntu users (and other debian distros). Thanks ahead of time for the consideration. This request is in regards to the upcoming Crystal Blue release and any other stable releases in the future.
