Now, tell me. How do you make molecules? With atoms. How do you make crystals? With molecules! And what would be a perfect name for a blue crystal? A sapphire...

first even if that\'s no more the case but it doesn\'t matter the atomic is the most little (littlest ? littlelest ? hummm I will think about that untill someone give me that answer...), then what\'s a little less little than an atom : a molecule then a crystal then an oxyd... so Oxyd Blue would be the best name (if you keep a science explanation)...

The smallest living organism is called a \"Quork\" or a \"Quark\", I\'m not completely sure. This release should have been called Atomic Blue, but Quark Blue doesn\'t sound good; especially not for the first release.

The first definition of atom was the most litle entity in the universe or something like that (it\'s pretty hard to explain in english what it is). When suddently a scientist gives the name of \"atom\" to an entity he was sure there is nothing smallest but wasn\'t able to find it in reality... atom is the very good name because of its meaning... and the quark isn\'t the most little entity of the universe in my mind... this is just the most little people are able to feel... for now

PS : atoms and quarks aren\'t alive...

I think that saphire blue would be the next logical name. I know that not all saphires are blue, but blue IS the color usually associated with saphires. Just like not all diamonds are clear, not all topaz is yellow. But we all still think of clear diamonds and yellow topaz.

Dude, it\'s just a name; like Doom, Half Life, Kill Zone, Empire Earth, Phantasy Star, etc.  It doesn\'t have to make perfect sense or the the most appropriate set of word for the game, it should just sound cool.

...I personally think Sapphire Blue is a cool enough name, and if that\'s not the name, so be it.

Well, for the sake of all those who worry about logic of names...
Shouldn\'t it have started with Particle?
The chain goes Particles into Molecules.
Or even Elemental?

Fun fact, Sapphire is a fancy name for a blue diamond.
Blue Diamond Blue just sounds silly though.

When I still had time to write my story, I did a lot of research into crystals.

In terms of logic, Crystal Blue -> Sapphire Blue seems silly.
I\'d rather have a cool sounding name than a logical name though.
