That map is -very- out of date, just letting you guys know. Few of the highlights exist somewhere, but they\'re definitely not placed like that. :)

Maps are things made by words or stored in your mind; they do not need to be a bunch of little symbols on it.  It would take all the fun out of it if someone gave you a visual view of where to go.  The fun is in exploring or following the cryptic directions that old gezzer gave you back at the temple.  Even if you have no directions, more is the fun of it.

I shall demonstrate how easy it is in a sample passage from \"The Mad Persons Guide to Mapping Without a Map\":

\"You go some where in town, a bunch of strong people and thugs come up and kill you, you know now that you wondered into the unsaviory side of town.  Well now you are in the death realm and you are lost.  This does not matter because you have all the chance you want to explore because you are dead so you do not have to worry about people killing you as you wonder around.\"

See how simple my system is :D  Be prepared to see this book in a massmarket paperback addition at your local \'Bards and Nobles\'.

[Edit]I am sorry I forgot that the last part might not be understood if you do no live in the usa.  One of the major book store franchises in the usa is \'Barnes and Nobles\'.  Sorry I did not realize the need to clear up my references earlier :) [/Edit]

I am sorry to disapoint you but it seems I have gone back on my word for this is not spam. I am showing through humor my view of \'visual\' maps.

And about \'useless\', if you found yourself without a map in a strange town and people kill you, you will remember my sample passage and mark that part of town in your mind as \'Place were the not nice people live\'.

For you unkillable people then all you need to do is follow the advise I gave for the death realm for everywhere.

*Note that talking to my book \'The Mad Person\'s Guide to Mapping Without a Map\' was not spam it was a reference to additional educational material*

Well, a GM might come along... And they can kill anyone. :)

And Kwip, I think, whenever the ability to publish books in PS gets available, you should write that book of yours and share it with the world.

maybe make your own map wouldnt be such a bad idea, the only thing you get is a small icon that shows your current location

Yeah. Some crazy newb in game saw that map and freaked out. He ran to the temple to tell us all how he knew where everything was going to be, and how the developers were giving us a sneak preview of what CB will look like.

We never could convince him otherwise...He probably drowned in the sea of glue looking for the enki city or something.
