Changing Gems to Tria
« on: December 19, 2004, 09:58:25 am »
On the topic of the rate of changing gems to tria.... i think they should have like a changing rate.  So that for the first 100 rubies its 1 ruby = 1 tria, next 100 its 2 rubies = 1 tria, next 100 its 3 rubies = 1 tria, etc.  This was you get a reward for all those hours you spent searching for those gems, but you dont have the situation where some player starts out with like 200,000 tria because he/she spent 6 months online and they start out riduclously more powerful then everyone else.  What do you think?

that is to extravigant cos you wil get tom much money
something like every 10 rubys is 1 tria would be better and less of an advantage to people with alot of rubys.

I thought I read somewhere that you\'ll be given an item based on your gems, instead of getting tria for it... I guess they found this to be the most ideal way to prevent cheaters from gaining too much?
I like taking things literally, going overboard is fun! Now... why do I keep getting odd looks?

the conversion rate will be ridiculous... Don\'t worry this is just a symbol. But I do prefer to have an object which is a symbol of the fact I was on MB.

\"Something like every 10 rubys is 1 tria would be better and less of an advantage to people with alot of rubys.\"

Um not its not.  If someone has 10,000 gems and another person has 100, they have 100 times as many gems as you.  Whatever the conversion rate is, they still end up with 100 times as much Tria as you.  Unless the conversion rate was so ridiculous that it gave pretty much no advantage.  But i think people should get something for having tested MB, (apart from a rock) and that the people who were online more should get a *bit* more of an advantage.
Obviously the exact numbers could be changed, so it 10 rubies = 1 tria for the first 500, and 20 rubies = 1 tria for the next 500 ect.  Its more the idea i was suggesting rather than the exact figures.
