I picked up tribes vengeance last night. Awesome game, ive played the first tribes before loved it , love this one 2. Mutiplayer action packed. If you lookin for a good muti player combat game Tribes Vengeance is for you.

Is it on purpose that you don\'t read the small text below the forum, before you post in it? Or is it just because you thought it was irrelevant, and that you can post anywhere you want, about anything you want?

As a tribes veteran (who up until recently constantly played t1 still (took part in a few tournys, won some stuff too)) I feel the need to say this game has none of the original \'feel\' of the real tribes.
There is no longer any skill or satisfaction in nailing someone mid air with a disk.
The game has been made for FPS, jetting and skiing seem like secondary things, strafing mid air no longer has the same manouvourability needed to do a quick dodge. The disk no longer takes your momentum and some maps are dodgy.

Don\'t get me wrong, it is a \'fun\' game, but its not a truely skillful and competitve romp the original (and to a lesser extent the second) one was. I await and hope for a good mod to it, that will adjust this =)
