Is CB Coming out on Christmas?

Ok just now i click on my favourites and go to the main page - its the old green one right? - now i go to the forums using the links community -> forums ok bear with me... then i go back to the main page in my old window (not by clicking \"back\" but instead clicking on \"news\") i am greeted by a blinking dwarf in the upper left of the screen and picture of a bar (tavern) at the top and a brown page with different font on the remainder of my screen. Finally there is a link that reads \"CRYSTAL BLUE RELEASED     DOWLOAD HERE\"


Anyway i acutally went to the main page to participate in this debate coz i wanted to quote the devs (or whoever posted the news) who said (in a very hintingish way) \"We hope it will be a happy Christmas \"

Now if i was to interpret this \'hint\' i would say they hope to bring it out on Christmas day especially if you take into consideration the length of time between the post about the numerous bugs with the CB closed testing they were performing and there next post, thus  providing time to remedy these current bugs and add additional content etc......and design new pages for the release hmmmmm.....

What do you think?

EDIT: the link for the CB release page comes up with a 404 error   sorry bout that  

EDIT 2: seconds after posting this i checked other parts of the site - they have the same layout now as the main page i described, which obviously came up first! TAKE A LOOK THIS IS SO EXCITING! **wets himself**  X( not again)

EDIT 3: as far as i can tell all pages have been converted to this new layout now except the player guide page.

I have just realised that i may be making the most monumental fool of myself if this page and layout has been up all day  ;(

hehe you can also click the kran and enkidukai and they move hehe im such a kid at heart

IF its released xmas day, it will take the whole day to download anyway, cos its alot bigger then mb was and everyone will be goin manic droppin their xmas pressies to dl it, then, if we dl it by end of xmas day its a mad rush to get in the actual game, and no doubt the server will get player diahorrea through the strain of taking that much attention. so IMO DONT expect the whole release to go nice and smoothly, you WILL be shouting at your computer for not downloading it fast enough, and crashing while login in :p

YOu think so? I\'ll be too busy christmas day to start playing then, likely. If I start downloading when I get up it should be done before lunch(my computer rocks like that).

mine rocks more, i can do it in an hour :p, yeah our pcs are fast at dl, but the server will have a limit too, just htink about 300 minimum of us fast dlers all at once wantin the same file, it\'ll be like findin a file on kazaa that isn\'t porn and a virus

That\'s something that I used to worry about before. With all the people trying to get on all at once, it may be laggy and cause lots of crashes.
But they\'ve reassured poeople somewhere else that CB will be better and can support it.

yeah i thought the server would be like major laggy when it first comes out... but think about it everyone has different download speeds, so there wont be like a massive rush but like gradually more and more people until it thins out..

yeah i thought the server would be like major laggy when it first comes out... but think about it everyone has different download speeds, so there wont be like a massive rush but like gradually more and more people until it thins out..

Also, the CB server will be a large improvement from the MB server,so those with wussy computers being taken out of the picture, it should be able to hold those that CAN get on.

Kwip has a wussy computer (well not really a wussy computer just a wussy dial-up connection)  Can only dl at night to becuase parents want to use phones during day  But the sooner it is released the sooner the process can start

By the time I finish dl my monitor will have a goatee (more like a full blown beard)

Too keep as much server bandwidth free it would be awesome if people could spread it in an effective way but - like Auckland, New Zealand\'s traffic system - it will never work  ;(
