A Personal Request
« on: December 22, 2004, 08:48:25 pm »
I guess this is highly off-topic here but then again that\'s what this \'hydlaa-plaza\' forums is made for :-)

I\'d like to point your attention to a competition that is currently running at lego.com. The url for this competition is: www.lego.com/eng/factory. The idea is to make a virtual lego set with a 3D program that you can download from their site. The selection of bricks you can use is limited so you have to do with the things you get in that set.

Me and my daughter (nearly 7 years old) are also participating in that competition and we can win if we get sufficient votes. So if you like you can vote for my models, for my daughters models, and of course for all other models. Vote honestly for the models you like most. Of course I hope you will vote for my models :-)

The registration link (which is totally free and they don\'t even ask for your email to confirm the registration) is at registration link.

You can find my models at my models.

And my daughters models at my daughters models

Vote honestly!

Greetings and thanks,

Well, good luck with it! (To you and your daughter)

EDIT: I voted for your daughter\'s Christmas Tree. I also liked your Belgium Village.

PS: I like Lego too... Although I\'m not that good with it.

Well good luck, both you and your daughter\'s models look very nice. I will vote in a little bit, but first I want to check how I can make my own! :D I love legos but unfortuanately I\'m very messy with them and they are super expensive nowadays  :( This seems like the perfect solution to my problem  ;) Great find btw, but one thing bugs me... WTF is up with that lady icon on the left. She\'s like really old and has grayed hair.... Not a fitting spokesmodel for a children\'s site :P She must be the owner\'s wife or something...

Nice models, I like them I like my legos a lot, although I don\'t play with them much now that I have a computer, and because they cost $50 for a decent set, I am a good modeler though.
Warning: Prone to common sense.

Hmm...Very Intereshtink. Out of yours I think I liked the Quaint little shop, out of your daughter\'s I thought the clown was cute.

I wish I could remember my lego user/pass, I haven\'t logged in for years. x-x

My daughters castle is doing pretty well right now. She is now at number one (but the competition is only one day old). I hope she makes a chance with this model!

Thanks for the votes!

Thanks for all the votes! My daughter actually won this time. She is extremely happy of course :-)

In any case. A new round has started. If you REALLY want you can still vote :-) The urls in the master post have been updated.
