Ring of the past

hey i just migrated my char over and it sed i  got an item for my collecting efforts which was a ring of the past. Did any1 else get this? and wats it 4?

Yes i got it too, i think its for anybody with over 1000 xtals or sumthin or another (i had 4385) so it could be any range from there but i had another account with 1 xtal and i didnt get one so i think its determined by the number of xtals. My guess is that its just a symbol that u played MB more than a couple of hours...

Yeah, its to show that you played MB for a while, so when the actual release comes out in however many months/years you can say \'yup, i was there playing the tech demo\'....

well its rare in so far as anybody that dosnt have it already will never be able to get it.  Obviously the more people that join from now on the less people that will have it as a percentage of the entire community.  I think its a just reward for those hours spent crystal hunting.

I doubt it.  I think the ring is just for display.  However of course if you keep playing and wait a while, then it will become more rare.  Obviously its not that rare at the moment.
