Well we all know, or atleast hope, CB is almost apon us. The new release isn\'t the only thing coming our way. I have decided and been planning for a while now on creating a PS fansite. It will be called The SilverLeaf Tavern. Now don\'t be fooled by the name, it won\'t be a copy of Kada\'s Tavern. It will be a fansite like a vault or warcry site. Now this site is going to be huge so I\'m going to need a staff to help with content. This site is a non-profit organization so its staff will be made up of volunteers. We are doing this because we enjoy helping the community and giving something back to them. Here are some examples of the jobs I will need done:
General Staff Writers
News Editor: Post news and keep the community up to date.
Editorials: Articles on various topics relating to the games, game mechanics, game world, and more.
Satirists: Humorous write ups on various topics.
Guide Writers: Guides on various game elements and walkthroughs of those most difficult of tasks.
Database Builders: Take lots of screenshots and help build databases for things such as a beastiary, weapons, armor, items, and crafting materials.
Fiction Writers
Write fictional stories that take place in the game world to entertain us. Wrtie about your in-game encounters or your characters life story. Write anything as long as its a PS-related story.
Columnists
Start your own column related to PS.
Staff Artists
Draw/create pictures etc. to go with articles, stories, or anything else.
Or create a standalone piece like a comic strip or anything you can come up with.
Site Designers
I also need people that can help with the website design. I need people who also can help code it to make it easy to update like by making it php-nuke or some sort of CMS.
Etc.
Anything else you can think of.
You can have as many or as few postitions as you want. If you are the slightest bit interested please reply to this post or PM me. If there is any other job you think is needed or that you want to do please ask me about it. If you feel you can help in anyway, please do so.
Now this fansite is in the early stages of developement and may not be ready for a while. Right now it is just in the planning stages but I have already started work on the webdesign. Though I can\'t do this alone so if no one becomes interested in helping this site may never happen. I have seen a couple people in the past try and get a PS site started but ended in failure yet I hope that is not the SilverLeaf\'s fate.
