monk question (please answer this within 2 hours)

is it true that if you try ANYTHING other then monk stuff, you can\'t be a monk anymore?

Well i am only 93% done so i wouldnt know but i would say that that would be pretty lame Although a smithing monk...lol that would be a sight to see

The quick creation paths are just to define your starting points (in skills and such) it doesnt make it so that you can\'t suddenly do other skills.  It just gives you the initial bonuses and nothing more.
