Insane lag / Uber low FPS?

Finally got my character created and everything, I connect to the server and I am either getting <.5 fps  or 1000+ ping. I have tried molecular blue before and then it was pretty laggy and everything but this is ridicolous. It\'s not playable at all.

PC Specs:

A64 3200+ @ 2.25ghz
1GB Corsair RAM
Radeon 9600PRO 128mb
120GB WD 7200RPM HDD.

I really don\'t think it should be lagging like this, also I would really like to be able to set it to full screen. I didn\'t find any configuration files in the planeshiftCB directory.

ok, please make sure your drivers are the latest version.

Then try playing around with your graphic settings. Also, try putting a minimum fps limit on in the PS options.

If you also want full screen, run pssetup and select the option. You can try fiddling with things in there too to lower the lag. Best method is to probably stay away from hydlaa_plaza, that area\'s pretty crowded.

It would help if I could move enouh to get away from the plaaza or whatever. Its so damn laggy I can barely see where I move.

I just updated my drivers earlier today, and it wasn\'t even for PS! Also, I didn\'t know the pssetup file could change settings, thanks.

Oh , also i\'m getting huge blobs in the middle of hydlaa plaza

Devs are working on lots of problems, check your updater for updates tomorrow or in a few days.
