I\'m experiencing some funny looking bug. It is, sometimes models of other characters are growing chaotically in random directions, sometimes to be as big as whole plaaza =D
points at the Ynwwn


And also here, areas where player names are, are a bit messed up. They sometimes are, sometimes not. This usually appear when i load new zone or stay in one place for a longer time, after I walk around a bit this bug slowly disappear, i gues players with bugged name have to move a bit too.

I got the \"extension\" bug as well. When I spawned I saw a enkidukai\'s arm longer than the statue in the main square, and when I was walking some other strange phenomena, similar to the screenshot above sorrounded me.

If it can be useful: Windows XP, last update of the Psclient, Radeon 9600 pro with latest driver 256MB ram, 512 MB ram for the computer, broadband connection 8mbit.

I downloaded the client
I downloaded that patch thing

On the first screen their is no text but weird black lines that make squares. I don\'t know how to put the screen shot here so I hope you understand.

The expansion bug happens to me, too. I blame it on the adaptive distance settings, as it appeared when I enabled it and went away when I disabled it.

Furthermore, the updater has e new cool feature: ignore readonly files. This will be interesting for all ATI users, as they can now simply set the readonly attribute for the glwin32.dll once they have replaced it, and never will need to copy it again. The same can obviously be used for custom skins and screens (I use it for my loading screen).

I have the silly bug on the names too .. believed it was some sort of work in progress thus ..
also my character seem to explode into a silly mess when i go from first view to the next external view ..
\"model\" come from every point of the screen and reassemble in a \"morphing\" like way until it is ok again .. never saw that before, it\'s funny ^^

theres no way to fix it right now... it has to do with your graphic card.

I had white boxes on the text.
I updated.
I have no text anymore yet if i run in fullscreen.
I can\'t restart the updater (windows error, this program will close...).

I tried to reinstall.
I copied the dll.
I updated.
I recopied the dll.
I can\'t run the game anymore.
I can\'t run the updater anymore.
--> The windows appear and disapear instantly

The text in the setup (and in the game when I have a little bit) is black (it is white on my friend\'s mac).

Is there someone with the same problem? Is there any solution?

ok, i updated, got everything running, registered, created a character(heres were the first hints at a problem were i think since i couldnt see a picture of any of the races when i picked to choose, but im not sure if your supose to), and i joined the server. allright everything seems fine until i got into the actual game.

I think i am missing the sky, and parts of different walls... since they are see through. and i can only see peoples weapons. ill post a ss below.

Hi, I\'v got Fedora core3 and I installed, updated game and I run
sh psclient. But when I got to the screen, where I have to subscribe email and password, the game is VERY slow, I\'have got Athlon 2000XP, 256 Ram and Geforce 4 MX440, is this configuration enough or i can\'t play ps? Please what should I do.. THX Fida

i cant seem to get the game working at all when i run the updater. after i run the updater it says trying to run new updater and then it stops responding, then when i try to run the game it asks to save the new files and i click yes but the whole thing crashes every time i try to run it. can anyone tell me how to fix this please.

Seems I\'m not the only one with the text problem.  Is there some way to get it to display white colored text instead of black?  I can\'t read it as is...

Guess I should be happy though...atleast updating my driver worked so that I can tell there IS text there.

Edit: Oookayyyy.  I finally manage to get it to fullscreen at 800x600 resolution and the text doesn\'t display at all.  No blocks, no nothing.   As long as the game is in a window though I have the black text problem.

ive got a big problem :
i cant see the text on my computer i have textures etc but ther arent any text and ive got a problem with psclient :a raport is created with one bug : planeshift _version_Mar 03 2005_addr77F9e4b4.dmp

my graphical card is a xabre 200 with 64 mb

(sorry if u cant understand what i write it is beacause ive got 13 yr old and im polish)

i have the lastest nvidia drivers (71.84) for the Geforce MX 440 and the graphics are showing alot of clipping and deluted edges when the camera angles anything other the 1stperson, its not that bad of a problem, but thought ya might wanna know
