Are you using your email or your character name?  To log into your account it is supposed to be your email.

Most likely, you didn\'t follow one of the prerequisites of character migration.
- You had to use the migration script where you specified your MB character\'s name, your
old password, and the email account you wanted to use/associate it with.
You can still find the migration form here
- You had to create an account here, using the exact same email address
that you specified on the migration form.
- You had to create your character under that account in game, using the same (first)
name that you used in Molecular Blue.
Please refrain from posting if you didn\'t do all the necessary steps.

KougrA: Go to start, find, files or folders... in the dropdown menu select the drive you sent Planeshift to, and in where you put the name write planeshift.cfg . Right click on the file that comes up and select \"open with\". Then in the list, select \"WORDPAD\". Wordpad should pop up, and a bunch of information in it. Near the start there should be a line saying \"Planeshift.Connection.User = youremail2yourhost.com. Change the \'2\' into an \'@\' symbol, save the document, run Planeshift and voila!

Greetings
Alright, this might seem too much of a mundane question, but I looked around and cannot find any useful information. I am new to planeshift, so I do not have a character. When I start it I am taken directly to the login to my account page. I do that with my registered and confirmed account (using e-mail as account name) and I get \"no account found by that name error\". In my server list I only have my localhost (which has a number that keeps changing, and I do not know what it means). Being on linux, I am looking at the pserver output and psclient output, when I try to login and fail I get from the psclient: \"Could not find account for login ye00@cct.lsu.edu.  Error: Remove player \'\' (5655261) Client  dtor.\" \"
and nothing from pserver. Am I doing something wrong? I tried to find out where I can add the laanx server from the pserver command line, the planeshift.cfg and the interface itself to no avail. Please forgive the silly nature of my question.

NB I tried to tinker with the psserver: used newacct and tried to create an account/password and login into them, that failed too (kept giving me wrong password which is quite weird)
