Can't log in
« on: December 26, 2004, 12:26:32 pm »
I\'ve a problem to log in the server: I just can\'t type the char \"@\" in the username zone... perhaps it\'s because I\'ve a french keyboard? (Yes, I\'m french...).
In fact, when I press @ on my keyboard, the char don\'t appear.
It would be great if could help me to deal with this problem :-)

Got the very same problem
« Reply #3 on: December 26, 2004, 02:10:57 pm »
Hi,
I\'ve got an german keyboard, and the very same problem. Other keys like z and y, which would be switched on an standard english keyboard, are correctly displayed.
But special characters like ?, ?, ? and ? aren\'t accepted either...

Well I have a german Keyboard as well and the problem with the @ can be solved if you press \"Ctrl\" + \"Alt\"+ \"@\".  And one more thing this has been told already in an other thread so search befor asking this question again ;-)

Sorry,
already found the solution in an other thread, it seems \"alt gr\" key doesn\'t work and you have to press \"Ctrl\"+\"alt\"+\"key with @\", worked for me...

Thanks a lot folks!

You could also do what I\'ve done:

You could edit your planeshift.cfg and change the Planeshift.Connection.User value with your favorite editor :)

Then you can launch planeshift again and it will fill in the field with what you wrote in the cfg file.
