That\'s got to be the single most amazing statement I\'ve seen on these forums.

It\'s so awesome it\'s almost scary. I feel unworthy, unclean. I cannot bear the honor of your presence. Such wisdom is beyond all comprehension.

It\'s always nice to be appreciated in one\'s own lifetime. :D

Back OT: Do you really think it\'s such a great idea to set yourself up as boss when you start a new guild? I mean, personally I know that if I joined a guild, I\'d like to have a chance to make the top ranks, how much of a chance is there for others to make it to Master Raven?

The chance? I\'d say if one of the master ravens went inactive...the highest some1 exept me and zell could get is head of the council of elders, which is pretty high. high enough for me if i where to join this guild. and besides. at least we\'re not one of those one man ruled guilds.. [EDIT] im considering letting in a third master raven...so the chance is slim..but still there, unlike other guilds....[/EDIT]

Well, it\'s up to you, but you\'re statement that you\'re not a one-man run guild is kinda funny, since you\'re  two-man run guild.

Two man guild...i\'d say guilds like that will be less bias than one man shows.

\"Bump\" spam deleted.

1. Bumping threads for no purpose is considered a Stupid Pointless Annoying Message. This includes editing a post in a thread for the sole purpose of bumping that thread up.

2. Posting something with 1 or 2 words and no real purpose or meaning is also considered a Stupid Pointless Annoying Message.

3. Having a big OT conversation about it afterwards is also considered Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. Except when Draklar posted, because he was right, and you were wrong. :)

Zan, you agreed to the rules that were presented to you when you created your account. There is also a sticky thread about why posts are deleted in the Hydlaa Plaza forum. There is no excuse not to understand forum etiquette here.

Ok, back on topic.

OOC: Errr.... Moogie just made a whole post totally unrelated to the topic whatsoever. :D

IC: Sure, a two-man leadership is better, but think about it. Even a shared dictatorship is still a dictatorship. Or do you have terms of office?

and on with the definitions:

dic?ta?tor?ship   Audio pronunciation of \"dictatorship\" ( P )  Pronunciation Key  (dk-ttr-shp, dkt-)
n.

   1. The office or tenure of a dictator.
   2. A state or government under dictatorial rule.
   3. Absolute or despotic control or power.

dictatorship

n : a form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator (not restricted by a constitution or laws or opposition etc.) [syn: absolutism, authoritarianism, Caesarism, despotism, monocracy, one-man rule, shogunate, Stalinism, totalitarianism, tyranny]

note that the ruler is an absolute dictator, in this case there are rulers and they have last word but if all goes as described they base their decisions on what the rest of the guild wants.  Also a government based upon multiple rulers is called a diarchy, in the event of a third ruler it would be a triarchy.  I believe that you were trying to imply that there would be no voice of the people considered because that is what a dictatorship is, whereas in this guild if I remember right everyone\'s opinion is considered as equal.

Oh, and China is a dictatorhip and they seem to be doing just splendid! ;)

Indeed. You\'re a monarchy. And by the way, if you knew anything about China, or how the people there live, you wouldn\'t say they were doing fine.
