updater not working

when i started updater it said \"couldn\'t connect to  mirror laanx !

and nothing happens.

is it just me having trouble with updater?

The updater is down right now, and there has been no official word on why yet.

Is there any word on how long it will be down?  I can\'t get into the game anymore, so I thought the updater would fix it.  But now the updater is down, so I\'m just out of luck as usual.  And it seems like it\'s not everybody, since I\'m seeing posts appearing about in-game problems.  I get to the \"Loading Hydlaa Plaza\" screen, and then it crashes.

Hey guys if you mean the bug that happens when u crash while getting out of the death realm. I just reinstalled the game, and i automatically appeared in hydlaa plaza just as spawning. I can\'t update can\'t use the sound because of the old bugs lol. But i can play.?
And remember, after this use /spawn to get out of the death realm.

No official words? I don\'t know how many times I have said that the updater repository is down because it contains a client which will crash.

The current client in the repository (Which some of you have got), has a bug in the sound systen when it loads the new sectors music and sounds, thus making it crash there.

So, I have buggy version because i update often (to get game more stable as it is not now). You say it is bug in sound system. It might be easy turn off sound and play again. But it doesnt work. When i start game, i login and choose character. Then, after about minute it fall down.
Would it be problem put there some older not buggy version of files, if location of error is known?

BTW it is normal that bugs are reported by windows behind black screen, so nobody knows where or what error happened? Or it is something with my win2k or nvidia driver?

Well, i like PS as its only nice free RPG i saw. I spend last two days when trying play something. But all i saw was Loading-Square-walking around-game crash
loading-square-falling to the edge of the world two times-hell-falling down and dying-game crash
walking from hell-loading-crash
walking to sewers-looking for way to deeper severs-returned to square by mistake-server failed...

well, i like this game, even i have not enough powerfull computer on it (Duron 650/384M RAM). Its laggy, but i would play it. But i am getting bored, as most time i spend by loading back again and again. I would like to see something new

Well thank you Androgos, now I know why it is down.  I\'ll be gone for a while(about a week), so I hope this is fixed when I come back, cause I happen to have bad luck with MMORPGs(would you believe that I\'ve had City of Heroes for two months now, and still have not been able to play it due to lack of credit card?).
