Have you installed it, or is that you have errors while installing? If it\'s already installed, have you run the Planeshift Updater yet?

I have this problem and if im right, he cant open the updater. What would honestly help is if the developers or someone takes the updated files and offers then as a download (if that would work)

theres about 300 threads with every single error of installation and running the program already noted, check what errors you have, and find the fixes on these threads... they are already here

@vantosa: your problem is not a problem of Planeshift, your problem is something with the OpenGL graphics driver of your Intle graphics card.
Your drivers are broken, either they are broken because of OpenGL is generally broken from your Intel graphics driver or you have installed wrong drivers (for example you have installed drivers for WinNT instead of WinXP).
The file which cannot be loaded from Planeshift is part of these drivers and not part of Planeshift (Planeshift does not install anything to your c:/windows/system directories).

So I dont think the Planeshift developers will be able to help you.
Furtheron you did not want to try to download original drivers from the Intel-homepage...

@GothikSprite: which file did you download?
PlaneShift_CBV0.3.004.exe or
PlaneShift_CBV0.3.005.exe

Mark the file with right mouseclick and then check properties of the PlaneShift_blahblah.exe file you have.
Check for size of file:
for file *.3.004.exe you should have 207MB (217.907.185 bytes)
for file *.3.005.exe you should have 208MB (218.203.224 bytes)

Post your exact filename and the file size (in bytes) you have...
Post the error message you get, if no picture type text exactly as possible...

@both: Be aware, Planeshift is far away from being a click-click-easy-to-install-and-use game. You still have to know something about graphics drivers, and such things to get it to run or update them.
And also you may expect a lot of ingame crashes, but when you are once connected to the server and play the game you will forget about all these problems ;-)
