Updater working, but not working
« on: December 31, 2004, 08:25:24 am »
Hey, I am trying to update the game the best I can but when I run the updater...
It gives me the following output.

Welcome to the PlaneShift updater version 1.0.2.1!
Click Update to start
Downloading registry...
Loaded registry
Server has another updater, going to fetch it..
Downloading registry...
Loaded registry
Updating updater to version 1.0.2.1

Then it runs an MS-Dos window
C:\\WINDOWS\\COMMAND.COM

and nothing happens :) let me know what I did wrong :)

Just in case you need it.
AMD Athlon 2400+
Asus A7N8X-deluxe Mobo
Nvidia Geforce FX5200 (Best card in existance for the price MUAHAHA)
Dual Booting linux and Win98(installing on win98 for now)

The updater doesn\'t work on win98 and WinME. There is a fix though, use the damn search button.

But in case you\'re too lazy, here\'s a link of a topic about the same problem:

If his question bothered you then why did you respond? To be an ass? You could have just as easily ignored his post or posted the link without the rude comments.
Two words: \"make menuconfig\"!
