So if im right about 0.000032% of the world died.

Wow, I never thought of like that before.

Lets hope that the rest of the world (those people trapped in their own existence) realises the power that nature really has at hand to use against us slight mortals!
Its time for the differences that divide the world to end, for to do this single act would unite the world and the people on it into the \'Human species\' for the very first time in history :)

Brothers and sisters of the world lead by example!!!

Well, if the world is filled with people like bush, osama, hitler, etc. Then we will never have peace. The world needs to unite and have no leaders. The whhole leader system is corrupt. Where all gonna die though so whats the diff.

Well cept me. Im not letting myself die until i chose to. Im not letting stupid nature control me. Im me and ill die when I want to.

That is great news, I am glad to hear that the US government have decreed it \'ok\' to give 350mill + to this cause.
Why not also take the troops out of the pointless war over oil, and give them something constructive to do eh?
After all dont they have enough of them to spare for those lost in the world?

Through destruction there can be unity, and through unity there can be peace.

And doing the duty of protecting the world from \'terrorists\' doesnt include killing innocent bystanders?

Im sorry but from the word go it was a bad idea to go for oil under the pretense of ridding the world of terrorism.

And its more than a country thats annoyed, its a whole people that are living around the world; the people with humanity and humility!

More people have been killed by US friendly fire in any war they are involved in, than the actual act of defending and controlling the area in hand.

It\'s almost Gulf war part II first blood part two, when are they going to learn?!?!?!?

Congrats everyone, for going off-topic that quickly.

What is happening. Ever since the tsunami, Australia has spent the most on aid and stuff. so far we have spent almost 1.5 billion dollars on aid for the countries that got hit by the tsunami. As I can see America has a far larger economy and Australia is still putting in more money. You would think America would be putting in more money than they are at the moment.

It doesn\'t matter \'who is putting in the most money\'. It matters that people are being helped!

Now, I just wish they could do a huge effort in Africa too, and get everybody over there some better living conditions  X( (Oh, and with \'they\', I mean everyone who can spare a tria :P )

Most countries can only really afford to help stuff like the tsunami. most contries help Africa in other times, Australia has charitys that help people in Africa but you really need to help people in desperate need.

True, as well as those who need help at any time if you can give that help!

America is giving money, that is the point I was making...According to the people with the statistics, the \'cleaning up\' and \'rebuilding\' after this destruction is likely to take 6 years minimum to put right.

Why cant we learn from a great example; allbeit a bit of tangent, during a war both sides stopped and had a game of football.
Put the guns down boys and girls and do the humane thing and go help those in a real desperate need of being saved!!!!  Humans...Humans...Go Humans!!!!

i gave 120 euro\'s for the people in asia but i\'d rather go out there and help them, specially because a friend of me probably lost his entire famlily there.

Help all you can people, even sending a text message to a tv station would do the trick, if we would all do that.

give cash for those that need it and help the helpless.

ok,  I wrote a poem for em.. comments please

Mother Earth
Father Sky
I grant this gift
Of the tears I cry

Before you lies a son of faith
A soul thats doused in hope
Your magic flows within this skin
And these words I spoke

Hold me close, and draw me near
Wash away the doubt
Let me fell the love abound
And take away my fear

I beg you please, grant me this
A place in the world thats known
A stitch within your weave of life
Or a strand of light my own.

Mother Earth
Father Sky
I grant this gift
Of the tears I cry.

As I dont really watch TV I wasn\'t aware it happens on december 26th...

And it\'s important cause in fact we had a catastrophe on december 26th some years before... a \"natural\" one...

The last time I listen to the news they said it\'s natural but we know it\'s not real! I think lying isnt a good solution...

An article in the Wall Street Journal on December 31, 2004 commented that human destruction of coral reefs that had formerly protected some coastal areas was a significant factor in the loss of life and damage in the area. The article pointed to the Surin Island chain off Thailand\'s coast as an example of protection afforded by the still intact reefs of the area. Fewer people perished in the protected areas. Many reefs areas around the Indian Ocean have been dynamited because they are considered impediments to shipping, an important part of the South Asian economy. Other factors have been the removal of coastal dunes and mangrove forests.

Im not saying they are dumb but just : WE ARE ALL DUMB !!! We all know our way of life is absolutly very dangerous and we continue (in fact the people are more and more inconscious). And the amazonia forest is everyday less big because of savage wood cut, there are everytime more and more cars (even if we are able to create very ecological car today!).

In fact everyone wanna make their own profit in every situation! For example, the ecological cars dont need gasoil... and the petrol factory do their best to prevent the arriving of this ecological cars, USA wage some wars in every useful and weak countries for taking gasoil for example... when a company find a way to gain more money they do it at all cost! The cd company are selling CD for 20Euros sometimes 25Euros and the artists are paid less than 1Euro per cd, with the mp3 these company sell the songs for something like 1 euros sometimes more per music and finally the artists are paid two times less with no explanations... I really think people are becomming crazy. And this is not off topics cause it would not had been a tragedy like like this one if for ECONOMICAL REASON people hadnt killed what they protected them... Oh I forgot : WHERE ARE THESE CORALS NOW ? I dont think the asien are responsible... but our ............. societies (European Union and United States...)

all my sympathy for touched people. I hope one day people could live without creating the suffering of their neighbourhood... but it\'s utopia like end of slavery...
