Unreadable letters!

When I first start CB (character creation) the letters are all in bright colors and unreadable, but everything else is fine. Should I run my updater? I tried but for some reason it wouldn\'t quite work. Is there something wrong with my settings? Im on 32 bit, should I change? I have an AMD Sempron Processor; 2.0 ghz and Windows XP Home Edition.

After a 14+ hour download at about 4 kbps, I finally downloaded and installed CB. Now if I could only figure out how to work the darn setup and character creation!

Fken - you are right i misunderstood him.
what i ment is that letters    in char creation menu are hard to read but thats becaouse o font and colours.

sorry for confusion.

I dunno what you guys are saying but I don\'t think you speak about the same. Some letters doesn\'t appears that\'s true and the updater and the game aren\'t responsible that\'s true too. In fact there are two kind of possible problems :

first you start the game with a 16bits configuration but the game use 32bits... some letters doesn\'t appears... that\'s normal

in a second way you could have forgotten to download your latest videocard drivers... it should be an interesting idea to download it... and so you\'ll see the game won\'t lag in the future as it lagged before...

Does it work on your computer Kereshin ?

@pacyfikator : the only problem I saw because of the bad font color choice was in in game help... I hope you speak about that because in another way, I think you should reflect a little more before answering a question  you don\'t know the answer... Just imagine if he never returns here : he will never know there is a way to read all the character thinking a future update will change the font...

Don\'t worry Fken, I haven\'t left forever, and some of the letters in the begining of the game are colored badly, in bright colors and transparent pixels.

My only problem with letters is in /help - everything is coloured black, so I have to highlight everything to read it. I\'m running in 32bit, With a Radeon 9200SE.

so I\'ve the same problem with the help command... I think they\'ll change it in a next update...

@Kereshin : also you can do what I adviced to you... I think it must work...

Actually, I use the updater and it was fixed, but now I have other problems :(
