mining is way more profitable....... i get ~4000 tria an hour mining platinum, 2000 an hour gold.  Plus gold ore dosnt attack you, like rats do, and nobody will steal your gold ore when you\'ve got it 90% out of the ground :P.
Plus, mining is a repatitve action so you can use..... helpers, if you know what i mean.

No MB characters, so have to start from scratch.

Rats impossible to kill barehanded, that does not sound good at all!

Try to get some money off people...:P...whenever I am online with my rich character...I would always help a person to buy a sword or whatever...:P

Bah I weild two swords as a Ynwnn and hit 12+ on rats per hit ^^ If you need trias I will certainly lend some out although ( I can\'t give it to you if you are a \"Evil\" character ^^)

I doubt PS currently support squarting model positions with a hat in hand for begging.

Killing rats as a noob is not all that hard.  I have only died once (and I have made the char as a magic user so low str and end) and use my barehands only.....

I find that I need to adjust my attack style to accomodate how I am doing - sometimes go to attack 5 to regain some health then back to 4 or 3.  I also find that some rate are harder thanothers - if I am not hitting the rat I hit the bolt and find an easier one.

Well lets assume that you manage ti kill every tenth rat.
You need 15 rats to get hundred trias.

Well if i am right you will have to die 135 times.

But well there is a very simple way of killing each rat and maybe even a gobble, if you team up.

Thats good. You are really impressing me, well with age comes patience I pressume.

Why wouldn\'t the game creators add some more way to gain progression points then!? Even if you have gotten a 100 trias for a pick, mining does still not make you level up! What is needed is a n00b-quest where you can get a pick without paying any money, and mabye one skill in mining...

Once again Themorian, this is still a tech demo.  This isn\'t a final release, they will add things, but we waited a over a year just to get combat, so, yea...
