Hang up?

Hello there! I am a new player to this game, I have installed it and created a char. Well I havent actually got to play it yet, because when I get to the char selection screen it just sits there and does nothing when I try to join the server. Any ideas?

Specs:

Amd 1 gig
Nvidia Geforce4 128 mb
640 ram
cable internet
gigabyte MB
soundblaster 16

I got that problem too. Im trying to solve the problem but just now we got to wait .. The team is trying to fix it...
