Updater not working properly
« on: January 06, 2005, 05:17:36 am »
I just downloaded the install file and ran it for the first time.  I ran the updater once, and after it DL\'ed a few files, it said please exit and restart the updater.  I did so, but then all the text and labels for the buttons were not there.   IE: I could see and click what used to say \"Exit\" and it would exit, but the text is not there for any buttons.  From memory, i cliked the update button and downloaded some more files.

After that was done, i clicked what used to be the launch button, and the game launches.  Once the login screen  loads, the text is again missing.  Including my name and password.  I retype them, the cursur moves over, but no text appears.  I put in my information correctly and click the \"Go\" button which, of course, doesnt say \"Go\" and a message box pops up empty (which i presume has more invisible text in it) and the \"OK\" button which i can read.  I hit OK and it takes me back to the sign on screen.  I\'ve also noticed that the setup progam doesnt have text either, but it does have the check boxes.  I downloaded everything again and same problem.

Im runing Windows XP SP1, with 1gb RAM, Radeon 9800 Pro 256mb.

Same problem here. Radeon 9600 pro.

I tried to copy the old glwin32.dll in the planeshift directory but that don\'t solve the problem for me.

Any help?
