To make PS run in fullscreen, open up planeshift.cfg and change
Video.FullScreen = false
to
Video.FullScreen = true

This may or may not work.

this does work by the way

The vfs.cfg link still doesn\'t seem to work.
Did you say you were going to upload it somewhere Chaos?

well... I followed all chaos\' instructions
double clicked to play
and literally nothing happened - as in, it doesn\'t even open an application...

I\'m too unix illiterate for this - I guess I\'ll just try to find another mmorpg that runs on mac - anyone know of one? Looks like this one\'s a long way off working straightforwardly yet.

How come you\'re alone working on this dfryer? Seems insane. But then, it is a free game - i guess you guys don\'t have all the money in the world to splurge on teams of coders.

Thanks for trying and good luck.

What happens when you try to save things in there?

Hi, and first thanks for all your help guys.

I have been following Chaos tutorial; for some reason the built in updater doesnt work, I have been using the Java one.

After the update, I didn\'t have to copy libpng12, cause I already had it installed via Fink. psclient launches fine but fails when loading cal3d library. At first it couldn\'t find it in /usr/local/lib (strange, I thought that problem was fixed by latest version). So I copied the libcal3d.11.dylib to that place, and now I got that error: (version mismatch)

Link (dyld) error:

dyld: /Volumes/Nargothrond/Games/PlaneShift 3D/psclient.app/Contents/MacOS/psclient version mismatch for library: /usr/local/lib/libcal3d.11.dylib (compatibility version of user: 12.0.0 greater than library\'s version: 11.0.0)

Any help ?

Elvanor: my only guess would be to try deleting psclient and updater, and re-running Cha0s\'s updater OR maybe trying the updater now that you\'ve downloaded a slightly fixed version.

Hey everyone.
<- Fresh meat here.

Anyway, I run a Mac and after downloading it and using the help file (Cha0s\' updater got the trick done by the way), it still will not run. My main suspicions are that after updating I did not find a \'libpng.12.0.dylib\' file in the Resources folder. I DID find a \'libpng.2.dylib\' file however.

Other than this it seems like nothing is wrong. When I try to open the PSClient it says the newest version (it still won\'t run of course).

Another question, when the \'sw\' and \'lib\' folders are created, where should the \'sw\' folder be put?

Thank you for your help.
Also, thanks to everyone who helped put PlaneShift together.

sw should go directly on your hard drive, i.e. /sw/

As for the error, open up Applications -> Utilities -> Console and then select Clear from the top. Then run the game and report the error message(s) generated. We\'ll be a lot better able to help you then. :)
