Actually, I meant exactly the word \"elite\". :D That\'s why you, Tybalt are our PR man, and I am the wizard. I get to be rude and prideful, you have to be politically correct.

In all honesty though, Tybalt did a much better job of explaining our \"selectiveness\" :D than I did.

Is Ashes an official guild (and I dont mean meeting the requirements)?  Is it more of a guild or an organization of potential great players?

Edit:  Well, what I mean is, is this a guild that you are offically apart of and cannot join it if you are in another guild or is it something you can be apart of while with a guild.

A guild is a type of an organization.

edit: well, if they call themselves a guild... I have never seen any different interpretation of a guild in these realms, plus if you read their background...

Like Lynx said, you should check out our background story. The clan started out as a mission of revenge but has since then evolved. All members have different backgrounds which are likely to be the base for our future goals.

Members of Ashes are not allowed to be in other guilds but they are free to join organisations.

Check out the site ;)

Now that im a former member i wish ashes much luck and succes. You probably miss us very much to have around ;) :D I understand that, so if ashes ever needs an extra sword don\'t hesitate to ask me. Cant promise ill be available but would not want to miss a nice fight.

Furthermore the purge is not enough to make ashes the elite guild it seeks to be. More needs to be done to make it so. Goals are needed to make ashes thrive and have something to work to.
Also a bit more seriousness is required. Proposals amde on the forum only got a few reactions and hardly ever the proposal was discussed completely or even put into action. I think ashes requires more generation of ideas, discussion thereof and if the idea is found good it has to be implemented.
Not that i want to criticise ashes, but its my advice about how ashes could and imho should be improved.

Also id like to know how the ashes story are going to be dealt with. The original plan was to write something about the joining of each of us. Is that still going to be done? Perhaps some story about our departure could be written as well. For my char this could be based on mistrust (for which i have a concept) between Ionas and ashes.

Hey Ionas! Great to know you\'re still alive. Yeah, we\'ve discussed everything you\'ve mentioned. We\'re just at the stage where we\'re moving on from the purge. We\'re now slowly moving into the stage where we actually do stuff now that we\'re all active.

Indeed it\'s nice to see you again Ionas :). You guys were part of Ashes and will of course always have your place in our hearts and history :D. The guild just keeps evolving and you guys have been of great help.

I know I\'ve been a little lazy when it comes to writing but I\'m still working on your part Ionas and will keep presenting different events in chronological order. So don\'t you worry ;)

Ah good to hear that phinehas. Than no doubt ashes has a very promising future. Maybe ill see some of you around ingame some time.

Tybalt how about making a story about some rp reason for the departure of four members?  Would add nice to the overall story id think.

I\'m happy to say that an old friend is now also becoming a new recruit. Depthblade has decided to join our ranks and wishes to become the Holy Searing. We hope that he will like it in our fine guild and be part of the great adventures to come :D

I\'ll leave it up to Depthblade to motivate his choice and also tell you about his character

Always picking up the high profile recruits.  Your well on your way to being a very strong guild in Planeshift.  (And when my group disbands, I will come talk to you to, lol)

IC: Well on our way? Well on our way!?!? We are the most active guild in all of Yliakum percentage-wise. Our members are the cream of the proverbial crop. We\'re not on our way, my friend, we are strong already.

OOC: Yeah, we\'re not doin\' too bad, eh? :D

I don\'t think you\'re the only small guild with all members being active ;)

True but how many guilds, even the small ones, do you know of whose members are active every day, most of the day?

OOC: I\'m going to stop before everyone begins to hate us for my arrogance. ;) Tybalt\'s the PR man, after all. :P

I don\'t think its a question of grabbing the valuable players, more or less a good environment..and besides I had friends there already. So who doesn\'t want to be with their friends?

Anyways glad to be upon the ranks of the Ashes, to be loyal to their final decisions.
