Let\'s not compare our guilds eh? ;) Other than being small guilds with a small ammount of members I don\'t see what we have in common.

Depthblade has joined us and that is what is of interest right now. If you have any questions, ask them and we will answer.

Also like Depthblade said, most people want to be where their friends are and in Ashes we put a great focus on friendship. Like we\'ve said many times before, being a well-known player of our community is not a requirement to join our guild. It\'s just that well-known players tend to be active which we find to be of great importance in our small guild. :)

Ahrg! I hate it when friends start quarelling.

Draklar stop arguring with Phineas, Its making me cry.

Well to give my two trias about it:

The ashes are one of the guilds I respect most. You are not a guild that takes anyone (hmm, not like something called \"The Core\", I dont know what this is, but they once rushed over Hydlaa, all of there names had no meaning to me (Well except of the old gambler Kian))
You dont have something called leader. And you are a invite only guild, something I really appreciate against those, mass-recruiters.

The only thing I can say, Keep on with it.
I want to be a flame, to crumble to ash, but never ever burnt.

I want to rise higher, rise up to the heavens, but sink, just sink down deeper and deeper into nothing,

I want to be an angel, a chosen, a devil, but I am just a creature that ever wants what it wont get.

Draklar, when Annah and Phinehas started fighting on your thread you were quick to comment on that, and ordered them to take their little fight elsewhere. I don\'t like the whole \"do like I say but not like I do\" thing so please stop and prove that you are better than Annah and Phinehas were that day.

...and Phin you know we don\'t need these discussions here ;)

Merdarion, thanks a lot for your kind words, I really appreciate it :)

Oh, I thought that discussing about statement brought up by one of members was on topic.

But if it isn\'t then I\'m sorry, really.

Sorry for starting an arguement I meant well on your way of being a dominant guild.  I know you guys are very active, just a little misunderstanding...  I do have a question though:  Now, is the reason you dont have a leader because you want to have a guild that can recruit the high profile players or does it just fit your personalities?

Depthblade: Im sure it is a good environment.  With their work ethic, I assume it inspires the guild to stay very active.

Before I decided to start Ashes, I was in Shadowhand under the leadership of Errion. I had lots of fun and was happy with my position as a servant. When our guild died I felt the need to avenge it by making a gathering of old SH members and other people of PS.

I looked at the other guilds and saw the same structure in all of them. I wanted to prove that I can create a guild without declaring myself the leader.

I guess that is what attracts people, the fact that they are under nobody\'s command. Old guild leader\'s like Depthblade and Phinehas know how it is to lead a guild and are probably tired of it. In Ashes they don\'t have to lead but still don\'t have to be under somebody\'s command ;)

EDIT: and most important. The member\'s are in focus as you can see from our current website...and will see on our new website ;)

That\'s the great thing about Ashes. Like Tybalt said, there\'s no leader, but we\'re not leaders either. I don\'t have to have the headache and responsibility of keeping my guild alive and successful, but at the same time I\'m not struggling to rise in ranks or griping about. Since there\'s no one leader, guild policy is made by all of us. There\'s all the benefits of being a guild leader, with none of the detractions. I can be my own person without having to try and fit into the boxes of certain ranks or guild goals that were made with no consideration of my character. In Ashes, I create my own ranks, and the guild goals are those in which I truly believe, not those that are \"close enough\".
