Mac OSX Problem

Um yeah i just downloaded your PlaneShift client game for Mac OS and after it was downloaded i unzipped it I tried to launch it. It opened the program and went to a loading screen with the 3 characters on it (leapard,warrior,etc.) and it sat there for about 3 seconds before i tried to move my mouse (there was no curser while at loading screen) and it auto quit on me. Do I need to ope it in real basic first or what. Please help
