Forest GuardiansGreetings fellow Hydlaans and travellers coming from far away. Please, sit by campfire and let my story be heard today. The story is short, yet of old and most noble race, that is living by pleasures and showing eternal grace. Our Dermorian kin to forested grounds does bind, there training hunting, training arcane mind. Many songs forests did hear from this fun-loving race, changing the awe-inspiring woods into long parties\' place.
But not always was our kin from dreaded danger afar, invasions of nomadic knights left on our race a scar. From Dermoria our ancestors were chasen away, after much blood got spilled in the horrible fray. They had to travel into the lands of unknown, leaving behind awful memories and the horrid groan.
And finally they found a new land, their new home. In the endless labyrinths for food did they roam. Many years have passed since those darkened days. Now - we have returned to our peaceful ways. Once more can forests hear our songs full of bliss, sang in harmony brought by nature\'s kiss.
So now we all strive to gather our kin, the elven race happy and noble within. We shall sing together and drink grand wine, bards tell awing stories while having a dine. Dancing and singing by the music\'s voice, for all days we shall now together rejoice. And when the horrid danger meets us again, let it meet our weapons, of our arrows rain. And no further foes, no further war, shall break the chains of our old folklore.
Leadership of Forest Guardians falls in hands of the nobility, which splits to Elders (Seer and Dryads) and Generals (Woodriders). Despise being on top of guild\'s hierarchy, Seer is not the \"supreme\" leader. He has no control over Scouts or any of the footmen. Control over them belongs to the generals.
Thus the leadership splits into two fields:
Elders - keeping in order guild as a whole, as well as giving orders to Woodriders and Rangers.
Generals - commanding Scouts and footmen (that remain under their patronage), thus becoming leaders of particular squads.
There are however ways for Elders to influence the footmen:
When Dryad asks Woodrider, that swore oath to her, to deliver her a special potion, he may then order one of his Hunters to do that instead.
The alignment of Forest Guardians is lawful-neutral. Just like the nature itself, we try to remain in perfect order.
Still, we do not care about one\'s alignment nor his profession. What we require from our members however is to show respect to others
All are welcome to visit us in our
forest dwelling if they wish to learn more about us or simply listen to one of our tales.
