Game Crashing - Help

Hey all!

I just got the game and went to try it out.  The install and character creation went smoothly, but when loading the world, my game constantly crashes.  I can\'t seem to get past the loading screens.  Here is my information:

Time of test: July 13, 8:40 PM
OS: Windows 2000
Processor:  P3 600 Mhz
RAM: 384 MB
Video Card:  TNT2 M64 4xAGP
Video Card Memory: 32 MB
PS Client Version: 1.004
OpenGL or Safe Mode:  Open GL
Description of the bug:  On Loading screen, the game crashes and takes me back to my desktop.    I have tried 10 times, no luck

What server r u using i dont know if it matters but which one r u using it might be the problem u r supposed to be running ps.gamiix.com, are u running that???

Yep, I made sure I was running on the correct server.   Only once by accident I think I connected to the wrong place, as I just wasn\'t paying attention.  :\\

The other times though I was on ps.gamiix.com

It might be your vid card but i am still looking to see something about ur problem and thinking of stuff it might be. :] sorry if this takes to long. i got soemone else helping me find it too.

It also might be ur firewalls or do u have parental controls it might be them too.  i am almost about to find it i think.

Heh, sounds like me.  Basically the same way I spend my days

It could be, it wouldn\'t be the first time this video card stood between me and a game.  Wish I could afford to upgrade it, can\'t play a lot of the games nowadays.

I also just wanted to throw in the drivers for it are updated as well.

And no rush, storms are rolling in here, so most likely will lose my power in a hour or two, heh.  

Take your time tho, and if it is my vid card that okay.  I will surely be back when I can afford to get a new one in the future

ZoneAlarm is the only firewall I run, but I did allow PS full permission.  I think...maybe I should check that real quick, heh.

Yep, I did.  Then again, ZoneAlarm could still be blocking something, who knows.  :\\

And nah to the parental controls.  I\'m 20 years old, youngest in the house.  Basically anyone who touches this computer loses an arm so don\'t think anything has been set.

I will keep browsing around though, checking the firewall and all.  Also, if nothing does come up, don\'t sweat it.   Sometimes I think my computer just doesn\'t like me  Hehe.  It\'s fairly old, so, could just be that.

Altho would still love to get to play, looks awesome.  I have beta tested before as well, and am always looking for new games.  That\'s the best part

Where do u live storms just left here LOL i just got back on because of them.?? but if u go to the home page and download a patch for this game there should be one there for this problem there might be and there miight not be but go and try it anyways. if it works tell me. :]

I live in Texas, Houston-ish area.  So far it\'s just some thundering/lightning, but never know in this area.  One minute it can be sunny, the next it\'s flooding.  :\\

Not to be a pain here, but I can\'t find the patch link.     I checked the main page, and all the downloads pages as well.  Maybe I am just overlooking it.  Really sorry :\\  I work tech support so I know how it can be when someone can\'t even find a single link that is probably right there in front of them.

I did look though, but will continue to look.

Well i try to give fast and slightly friendly service for those that r new to the game. I will look for a patch to and if i find it i will post the link in this thread and u can come and get it aight cya l8er. :]

Oh and i live in the tennessee memphis area so that wasnt to close to where u r never mind but i was watching weathewr a while ago and saw that there r storms heading ur way muahhahaa:evil:
