Fail or numbers "flashing"?

I just installed this game and I know that the Server is down or about to come up etc.

But when I go to log-in I get either a fail message or a \"number\" that flashes where the Fail is. The set of numbers does Not stay up long before it goes back to fail.

I am not sure if this is trying to connect or if it is something I have installed wrong?

It\'s just the ping with the server. The lower the number is, the faster it reacts. It doesn\'t matter what the number, as long as it\'s in the 400-500 (with me at least), and as long as it doesn\'t fail.

Does that mean that you just kinda sit and watch it or that \"fail\" means the server is down.

Sorry for the \"I don\'t get it\" - but I am still confussed.

The server is down currently, check the Genral Discussions forum. Normally you won\'t get the \"Fail\" message real much on the Laanx server, just a number that changes from time to time. You shouldn\'t bother, as long as it isn\'t \"Failed\" you can join the fun.
