Looks really good better than i thought it might be. The handle is what really brings it out. great job.

the only problem with that sword is that the blade is too thin, if it were real it would break when swung, but other than that it does look really nice specialy the red gem. Its simplicity is what makes it so good too many people want swords to look all flashy when they dont need to be.

i added a little detail to the sword... and what do you mean to thin... from its side it looks fine... i think you meant not wide enough...

Anything along the lines of tripod as well, they are all simple, and since u dun really need anything fency for this.

Tripod

yeah thats what i was saying. If that were a real sword and you swung that thing at someone when they blocked it with a shield or something that thing would eather bend or snap off depending on the elasticity of the metal it is made from. so yeah i  guess what i am saying is make the ficking blade bigger befor it breaks off and stabs someone in the eye.  :D

......... i suggest you pick up a metal object, lets say a fire poker and try to break that on something metal... it aint gonna bend or snap, it aint made of aluminum or tin

? it looks fine to me. the blade is about twice the width of the handle, which is just about right i think.

i think uve been playing to much FF7 ... (blades dont actaully come that wide

Plus it looks like it is one handed, and the blade is already pretty long, so if u made it any wider it would be to heavy swing fast.

have you actualy ever really used a sword? i train my self with one just about every week if i get time. The blade on my sword is shorter and wider that that thing would be and i have already had to re bend it 3 times this year. If you just barely swing the sword you will be fine but if you swing as hard as i do then it wont last you an hour. Plus long swords incase you dont know are really heavy because the blades weigh more than a broad sword or short sword. the tip\'s angle is too slow too. I dont know maybe i am being to critical but i actualy make real swords so i cant help it. if the sword was really thick in the middle it would work but it wouldnt cut things that well if it were as thick as it would need to be to be strong enough. good job on the hilt though, lol i havnt masterd making handles yet so i cant really say much about it.

ps fire pokers bend when you hit things with them too, lol i was born in the wrong time period
