Linux RPMs for Planeshift
« on: January 12, 2005, 06:23:04 pm »
Hey everyone!  I\'m new here, but I\'ve been following the development of Planeshift for years now.  It\'s amazing how much has happened.  Keep up the good work everyone! =)

As you can tell from the subject line, this email is about RPMs for Planeshift.  Specifically, I would like to create Linux RPMs for the new release of Planeshift.  However, I don\'t have the source, and so I can\'t do it on my own.

Who can I contact about this?  I tried emailing Luca Pancallo at info@planeshift.it, but I got no response.

Thanks ahead of time to everyone willing to help.

There are already RPMs created. If you would have searched, you would have found this thread.

Hey, thanks for the links, and sorry I missed them.  I got a question, though: why aren\'t these posted on the Planeshift homepage?

My guess, because they\'re unofficial, and the volunteer team can\'t assure you they will work.(not that they can do that anyway :D )

Thanks, Kramy.  That said, I\'ll spend some time with voidinit--the original RPM poster--making functional Planeshift RPMs.
