If I suddenly vanish from these forums, it is because of a system hardware failure (AKA, my computer is dieing)  Seeings how the motherboard has burned up once, the graphics card once, and the processor twice, I was kind of expecting it.  This post comes after a complete reinstall, but my problems still exist.  I was almost unable to write this. Trying again tomorrow. Wish me luck.

BTW, Moogie...if I don\'t make it back...you still owe me a post.  :D

Bye yourself a new computer. That is what I did. But then I went to my grandma\'s house and blew up the motherboard on her computer LOL. But I still have my new computer and my grandma has a new computer so we are both happy, FOR THE MOMENT.

OMG noooo. All the good people always leave. I actually miss Flippyseal.

Damn, hope you get ur comp fixed soon :)
My friends comp makes a burning smell too... Notings wrong with it (cept its old). Hes getting a new one soon. I reccomend a completely new comp if you can afford it.

ok hows this one....we got this new sweet assed computer right. then.

im using it and it p*sses around for a bit so i restart.  it never restarts so im like oi wtf.

so we go and get some thingo inside replaced. bloodey no good computers...

I tell you it\'s an omen. Something is going to happen. Maybe a worldwide virus that blows up any computer that it gets inside or a big military computer sends nuclear bombs to blow us all up and make computers rule the world. Iv\'e been watching to much TV.

Just make sure that in the time between you losing your computer and getting a new one you dont forget about PS. Or Ill hunt you down and remind you! :evil:

Just here to say that I am still alive and posting, but for one time only on a borrowed comp.  Ordering a new CPU soon, as funds were tight.  If that fails, then on to new comp land.  

BTW I am still writing my story.  My pen and paper still work. ;)

I too am having hardware problems ! 8o My cd-rw drive just quite, and my second hdd just broke! It is a pox I tell you! A pox! Of course I am getting a shiny-new-super-uber-1337-and-cool pc soon :D Well, hopefully you will get a new pc soon, then come back!  /me goes into evil laugh that soon dies off: MWHAAAHAAAhaaaahaaaa...

i hope to have a new computer for my birthday, and yeah, yesterday after a long seesion of Simcity 4, my temp was at 56, 10 minutes later when i glanced at it it was 58, and i wasnt doing anything.... so i turned it off, opened it, took it out back and broke out the canned air, whew the heatsink was clogged with dust, now it runs at 45 normal and 50 for simcity 4 :)

There was a bit of a snag in the ordering dep, but I think my cpu is finaly on its way. *knocks on wood*  So I may soon be able to spend more time on the net.  

I added a little to my story today for those of you who have been following it.  There is much, much more already written, but alas, it is only on paper.  I need my own pc fixed before I can give you the rest.  I may add a little here and there untill that happens, though.
