Problem: Searched around and confused

I have been playing around with this for about 1hour (so i hope this game is worth it  :-) ). Before i was having the no text when i have to do the second update. Know since i downloaded this .dill file i have text. The problem is the text is showing me this:

Welcome to the PlanShift updater version 1.0.2.2!
Click Update to Start
Downloading registry ...
Couldnt connect to to mirror Laanx!
Switching mirror..

and it stops dead. I then read that the server is down for everyone because there are to many bugs. I then went to this link \" http://203.81.47.74/gaming/ \" and it shows 203.81.47.91:13331 PlaneShift MMORPG PlaneShift Laanx Crystal Blue Refer to Website Laanx 0 <-- is the ping i am getting.

My question is, is there another site i can get the update? If there is why isnt the updater switching to that server? If i have to do that myself how do i do it?

Please dont tell me to search the forms because i have been for an hour and i am getting really tired of it!!

This has not been n00b friendly!!

If the update server is offline then it\'s offline..

The updater server is not the same as the laanx server as well.

But anyway, can you post the contents of your updaterconfig.xml here please?

i see the \'Server settings for paths of the application\' however, it only tells me it checks Laanx first and nothing else

Yeah.

This morning I tried ROSE Online and it wouldn\'t work.

Then I thought PlaneShift would work, and it looked promising.

That guy said that the downed mirror was to our benefit. I hope that means that another one\'s coming up. I hope I hope I hope.

Yeah, it\'s definately the server that\'s down :)

Anyway, try again tomorrow, should be online by then.

The client which we tried to get into the repository was in the very last minute declared as having a HUGE memory leak in it.
That was 1 min after the client was uploaded, therefor the repository is down (or moved, but if you figure out how to download it, it\'s on your own risk, it will take ENORMOUS amounts of memory though)

I must not understand how CVS works...but can\'t you just put the previous client back up, so we can a least get the art files?
