updater:not working

I have Ps loaded and i try to update and all i get is \"downlading registry\".After a while it stil does nothing and i click update again and it says \"downlading registry\" again. Is there a problem with it or the computer?

no, the server is jsut unreachable. Mean its offline, i just figured that one out myself. Wait a small while, like a few hours, if not then, wait until tommorrow. The server may be abck up then. Maybe its jsut restarting the server machine. it takes a LONG time to reset server machines to make themrun at optimal performance.

Ya salso with that i can only get Fragnattics and everytime i downlaod Ps i keep getting the older version instead of the newer one.Why is that?

well then thats when you run the updater, of course. However...Fragnattics, while it is currently now getting Ping, is still down from the updater, for some weird reason. Patience though, i just downloaded it and im eager to give it a shot.

Then that leads to my last question. How come when i try to update,It says\"cannot connect to lannax mirror\"?

thats what im talking about. The updater server is down still. So its just a matter of waiting. Check every now and then or completly wait until tommorrow to give it another shot.

The fragnetics server has a ping, because it\'s the game server. The updater server is offline today, not the game server.

i cant use the updater or get on the server can someone help me with this is there a way to get on the server it always says fail

The updater server is not down. Maybe you just have some dns resolution trouble?

if its not down, than there quite a lot of people have sudden dns problems all at the same time...

just look out in the forum... i think i\'ve seen already 4 threads about this single topic.

Is there a place where you can manually download the update? I\'m unable to update as well.

I think its because those people have Dsl(I do) but my friend has been playing for a while and he has Dsl.

maybe it is the Dns and wait na it cant cause i ussaly have my firewall off when i play games can someone help me and i have DSL does that do anything

I didn\'t read all the post about the server being down but I can tell you from todays experience with the game.  The admins have been taking the game down and restarting the server off and on today for maintainence.  Perhaps this is why some have not been able to get on as yet.  Just bad timing.
