need a lil help plz

1.         when i try n log on i dont know what to put in for the account name. i tryed putting in my email but there isnt any punctuation marks.

2.         when i enter the number i got from the verification email and then my password it says:

You are not running the correct version of Planeshift for this server.

3...the server that i HAVE TO USE is called Fragnetics. there are no other options

yes you do have to use laanx .. you have ran the updater, right?

welll, strange thing is... i ran the updater until it hit 100%. then it said \"updating the updater to version blah-blah-blah...\" and then a black window pops up and nothing happens.

after leaving it there for 45 minutes for the black window to finish whatever the hell it was doing, i thought that it must\'ve froze or something.

i click to close it and it said  stuff about how it was in the middle of doing something and asked me if i wanted to terminate the application and lose any unsaved information.

Why in the bloody hell won\'t it update? :S

This is a known problem, which has a solution. You\'d have found it by using the search function or by looking at the stickies in the CB bugs forum, as it is a CB bug (hint: COMMAND.COM and Win98 ). Furthermore, there also is a solution for the \"entering email address\" problem, which can be found by the same means.
