People would stop playing in the living realm and start exploring the death realm! This game is sounding better each time I think about it! Too bad it doesn\'t look better every time I look at it, but hey, its only alphabeta testing.
Good day to you sir.

I agree that PS should have resurrection spells. I\'m not sure how a low level party would carry back the dead body to a high level cleric for resurrection but if they did that would be a faster/less painfull exit from Death Realm than searching/fighting your way out.

I have to admit, I\'m surprised how tame DR is right now. I\'m also surprised that you get to keep all your equipment, money, exp, levels, etc. I would have thought that, even if you did fight your way back to the living there would be more punishment for death than just \"time served\".

Following the line of \"Fighting\" your way out, How about several \"Levels\" in DR where you get placed lower depending on how skilled you are. A bit tricky but would be interesting if a character that has high levels of skill with weapons and shields for example is sent to a \"Lower\" level that is harder to escape from.

Seems like this would make for a bit more of a penalty for dieing as your character progresses. imho of course

I think the death realm was the coolest looking part of this game I have seen.  Great job, continue along those lines devs!  :D

With all the suggestions above and this one, DR will become an interesting place to be than the very boring state it is in.

The different levels for varing level of skill is excellent idea. Combine it with multiple exist and spawning spot per level will in a long run spice things up a lot.

Now the issue about those who decide to live in DR, must be a way to cross the barrier back and forth in some special way (and I mean SPECIAL method, maybe spending enough time and doing DR quests they receive a gem imbedded in their body to allow safe paasage through the portals - no major penalties).

Having just returned from this land of the damned, I am speechless at the horors that there did abound.

All around darkness, both empty and yet sufficating at once; darkness that mirrored the state of the souls that had to walk the terrible path.  The path itself being no more than a narrow ledge, which shadowed by the darkness, was all most un-navigatable.

Creatures resembling flying insects make this land their home; their bodies enlarged and disfigured.  The talons they wield are equally frightfull, allowing for the disection of a Kran in less than a minute.

Finally, the portal back to the land of light was constructed into the form of a demon\'s head, frightening enough to keep those weak of courage away and stuck in that land of death.

Be there for doubly wary, friends.  Death itself is not to be feared but living in death is.

OOC: Wow, the death realm is great, in its artistic magnificence.  If anyone has not done so I advise them to find a method of death and inflict it upon their char so that they too can marvel at the art that portrays the mood so wonderfully.

Shouldn\'t be too hard.  Just walk up to a rogue or one of the monsters in the arena and say \"hi\".   ;)

no, they was the original spawnpoint, you would spawn like a  100m from that stair in a pitch black room where the only light were that which is seen in the pics, so you would walk toward that light and then the stair would lead to the place you spawn now.
But when the place was finished Talad said he didn\'t like it so I had to remove it and just make all ppl spawn at some random place for no reason.
Put the pot down, no dont take another puff!, put it down. Thank you.

My wish of Death Realm: Riddles, hard ones, easy ones, some could be dialogue riddles (think of that scale in the mythology of the egyptians (cant remember the name)), some also could be Zelda like (Majoras Mask, of course without the items, (Iceblock pushing, etc. pp.)) maybe some will need more players, and though fights, so you need to group up, and some of the \"a hand wide away of reach\" effects, so that when you spawn in you will instantly see the exit, but when you go towards it the platform will vanquish and you will land (alive of course) many platforms deeper, also cool would be some really scary things, like a narrow corridor where hands (pale hands) reach out of the wall.
I want to be a flame, to crumble to ash, but never ever burnt.

I want to rise higher, rise up to the heavens, but sink, just sink down deeper and deeper into nothing,

I want to be an angel, a chosen, a devil, but I am just a creature that ever wants what it wont get.
