If your updater will not work - simple fix.

Heres an easy step by step.

right click your start menu

select explore (or explore all users on xp)

open program files from the menus on the left

go to the folder Planeshift Crystal Blue

now open the updater temp folder and copy all the files

go back to the planeshift crystal blue folder and paste those files

(note: dont be scared when you click your PS icon and nothing happens you still have to run the update, except this time it works.  Update all the files and the planeshift client will work again)

I did this just because i had seen a few posts from confused users and questions in the irc chat about how to easily fix this problem. hope this helps   someone

Thanks, yup it works but now my planeshift folder is competely messed up, empty spaces were things were deleted and some of the files on top of other files, I had to look for the updater but he was hidden under particles.dll but I found him. restarting the computer doesn\'t work but I\'m happy I can play again.
