Odd Problem
« on: January 21, 2005, 05:16:43 am »
I have just finished updating and i started the game and the first thing i noticed that was out of place was when it says loading hydlaa plazaa, the loading bar does not move but it does load after a bit.  When i am in the game i cannot move or anything and when i click anywhere on the screen the game stops responding and i have to end the game. Please tell me how to fix this.

I looked in my system stuff and i can\'t find anything but i know i have an NVIDIA Geforce4 MX 420 graphic card which is nice and i know that my computer is fast. This game used to work until i updated it recently. Can someone tell me where to get the rest of my specs? I also know that i installed more ram that puts my computer very high in ram.

OK, mine is doing the same thing. I just posted the \"UBER LAG?\" thread. A more descriptive title might help you a bit.

Anyway, I\'ve researched this and it has nothing to do with the update. As it worked fine for me after the update all day yesterday, and now this.

I believe it\'s server side. Something was changed today and it\'s only effecting a few of us.

I\'ve tried changing just about every option in the game, and various video mode combinations, and nothing is working.

I have an AMD athlon 64 fx-53, nvidia geforce 6800 gt, and 1g ram.

I don\'t believe it has anything with system specs either, as obviously I have a pretty fast system and I have this issue as well.

simular

Is that like Nucular?

Not to derail or anything, but Guys I think George Bush is playing this game with us....

Hail to the chief!!

Anyway, back on track.

Just a note: the game does eventually crash if you are patient enough and wait for it to do so. It might be helpful to the propeller heads in here if you were patient and got a dump file to link in your posts.

Yeah, if your patient enough you can wait for the game to crash, and it will offer you the option of making a \"dump file\" which is a description of what went wrong that the devs can use to fix the problem. You can post it to a web page somewhere if you have space, and make a link to it in your post.
