Azuros, next time please edit rather than double post.  

I would advise setting higher limits, and a ~1000 tria unlimited account - 100 metal ores/200 logs would easily fill up a 500kg vault.  Seeing as the bank does not carry items, maybe a space/volume limit would be better - drag items from your pack to a shelf or the floor.

Banking system for items could be like this:
For a certain amount of trias per week/month/day a player gets a small room, which has a stong lock, nearly unpickable, and into that room he can drop the items: on shelves, boxes etc.
Money deposit should be like usual, talk to an NPC, give him/her the gold and he/she will add it to your account.

Another idea is making the banking system like in real life, that bank can use the deposited money to give out loans, trading to increase the money,make things better in the bank etc.
Also there could be player run banks and smart peaople can get rich by running a successful bank.

I\'m absolutely for an independant banking system in CB.
It would help create the stability the Dev\'s require for good progress, it would help people to focus on things a little better if they knew their was a place where their items and money could be kept.

If we did it like a current account where you have to have a certain amount to open the account, that should be sufficient for the opening process.  A regular payment may drive many away, unless of course it is an investment account.  
There could become the different account types this is a good idea; pay more in earn higher interest, but it is difficult to implement successfully.

What happens if you are not able to play for a week or more? Does your account get unrelentingly charged until you have no more money to pay for the service in which case the bank reposses all your belongings? Or do you only get charged whilst you are online?

I think being charged for deposits and withdrawals is a good solution. That way it would be possible to accumulate interest yet making to many transactions could hinder the process of making money off your money.

I beileve a bank should be implemented.  For one it would be great for the URPS because of trust issues.  A bank would never still the money nor would questions arise about it.  A bank is just a great idea.

Geez i cant belive there wasnt a post on this before,(but if there was it didnt go far) because a bank system is a must.

This way they might create the \'loose all stuff from death\' system or what ever its called. This will help people to understand to not take dieing as a joke. There should be a progress with what you loose though maybe threw a % system( Eg. More money/ items you have more you loose by a set %). Newbs will have a hard time if every time they die they loose all there stuff, they wont have any money to \'buy\' an account! :D

Just another one of my on the spot ideas tho :P

also just for some peoples information and dont attack me for this but you will be able to keep stuff(equipment and other things) inside your house where hopefull it ill be safe :)

The bank is a fabulous idea.  Especially if it\'s player run and robbable.  Even better if there are multiple banks competing with each other.  Then we could get jobs as guards, specialy security teams, corporate spies (working for the \"other\" bank) or, my favourite, bank robbers.

You need a high Pick Locks skill to break into Walsh\'s bank, but Stone just keeps a sword under the bench as protection...

i think we sould have a bank similar to that of runescape... we can hold items and money but to a limit... and were excluding the member non-member thing cuz ps is free (thank god!) lets say 15 items for regular account. and i like the upgrading thing like say for starting off pay like 100tria and to upgrade 400tria and so on (300 tria every update) and every update u can store up to 5 items more...i like this idea...

yeh thats pretty good but i think the prices should be abit higher then 300 tria per upgrade maybe a couple of 1000 tria ?
