Here is a pic of an Elven Swordsman that I drew:

That\'s probably it until the weekend comes again. :D

A good look at this site: http://www.portrait-artist.org/ would probably help your drawing a lot. You get proportions right, but detail, like the eyes and that, aren\'t drawn properly.

Here\'s another (considerably weaker) sketch of a Gnome:

http://www.geocities.com/phishmod/gnome.html
He\'s a little ticked off.
Not really PlaneShift, but someone asked me to do it for them.

Thanks for the tip about http://www.portrait-artist.org, although I have yet to produce some displayable work from what I\'ve learnt. And I always draw on the back of work. So long as it\'s not mine. ;)

I\'ll probably scan in an eye tomorrow to show you. Ach, I need some proper pencils...

On the gnome the left arm is too short, and on the right arm the forearm is considerably longer than the upper arm.

Please, don\'t take my criticism as a downer to your work though, I know lots of ppl who can\'t draw that well ^_^

The hardest part of drawing, IMO, is getting the courage to be proud of your work and show it to others.

Thanks for the constructive criticism! That was where I kinda messed up the foreshortening and things... Anyways, here\'s an eye:

http://www.geocities.com/phishmod/eye.html
I think I drew it much better than previously...

Next up: A Dwarf...
I\'m trying to post only when I have a sketch to show for it so the next one may be a while.

No worries. I can take criticism - it helps me to learn. ;)

Sorry about the long gap between posts - I\'ve been very busy. Anyway:

I think it\'s my best yet. Tell me if the image actually displays on this page or not. Comment and criticise at will. Or at me. Whichever. :P

[edit] Oh yeah, I got some pencils yesterday as well, which kinda helped a lot.:D[/edit]

Yeah it works on that other page... the head is a little big for even a dwarf, but it looks good.

The dwarf looks... mellow. You don\'t see that very often. :P

Pretty good work, better than I could do.  :(

Thanks Frarda, I did kinda wonder about that.

I don\'t think that you should compare yourself to other people, because the only way you can really see the level of skill you have is by looking at what you\'re doing now and what you did, let\'s say, 6 months ago. That way, you can see how much you have improved, rather than how different your style is to someone elses. But thanks for saying it was good. :P Also, I\'d quite like to see your work. So post it - posting pics in my thread won\'t cause a nuclear holocaust. I don\'t think so, anyway.

Anyways, as I know you all love \'em, here\'s an Enkidukai. *first drawing in a new sketchbook :D*

Well, seems like people  don\'t like them after all. :P
Anyways, I drew another picture and coloured it rather badly:

http://www.geocities.com/phishmod/swordtorch.html
Also, his left side is quite badly off because I forgot about it. Oh well ;).

And another Enki to colour if you feel so inclined:

http://www.geocities.com/enki2.html

Oh yes, I almost forgot:
*BUMP*

I can\'t take out a pencil and just sketch something. I always end up frusterated because it looks so different that how I want it to, so I rarely ever sit down and practice. I prefer \"computer art.\"

I make sigs for people... A few examples

Well, you get the idea.
