Item requirements
« on: January 24, 2005, 01:05:06 am »
will there be any item requirements??

in my opinion it is needed to make characters concentrated on one way any sense.

if a player developing magic , and wery weak (in strength) could wear any heavy armour and use any waepon there would be no point in creating a Kran with no magic and good stats (strength / endu) as strength and endurance have little influence on damage and health.

As of now, there are.

That was some great info monketh..
you need 85 strength to use a long sword.
less than that for short sword.. etc.

I answered the question.  I can\'t even use a longsword so I don\'t what the strength req is.  He didn\'t ask anything else.

I\'m pretty sure there isn\'t one, and I don\'t think there should be one. This is the kind of thing that the devs don\'t want publically out there. Monter lists, Guides, Item lists with stats...

....you know that for example long sword needs only 80 strenght to be used.....there isnt yet a weapon that would need more strenght to be used than 135.....

Does anybody else find it odd that it takes less strength to wield the massive claymore than the nimble longsword?

Ok so obviously requirments are in place but I seriously doubt they will stay what they are right now which could very easly be a bug.
