Updater/Game problems

i recently d/l-ed the game and installed it.  when i run the updater it acts as if it is not updating at all.  when i run the updater to goes to 100% completion, gives me a message saying \"updating in backround, wait until finished\", and when it finishes the updater restarts and does the same thing over again.  it does this every time, over and over again.  i am not sure of the problem.  any suggestions on how to fix this or if anyone know what may be wrong the help would be greatly appreciated.

The updater has to restart itself to upgrade to new versions.

As for background work... it might take a while for it to get going I think. But once it does there are a lot of command windows..

i realize this but the updater is not updating at all, it freezes when the command window comes up.  i have read some other postings on this same problem but i have yet been able to figure out how to fix it.

I got the same problem and read the updater notepad file. It says it failed to delete updatertemp/repos if this is any help solving this problem im glad to help cuz im stuck too
