The very nature of a sarcastic critique is that it is not constructive. My main objective was to illustrate this. Some how we have duked it out over a number of different issues.

Belligerent, tongue in cheek criticism may hold merit to the poster but to someone that has put work into a website and as a result has a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction it may just lower their self esteem and cause them to under value the work which they have completed.

Its this line of reasoning that lead me to the conclusion that there is a strong \"Role Playing Snob\" presence on these forums. You may not understand where im coming from but thats of no concern to me.

Its not overly contrary if you can understand what sort of criticism IM talking about. For someone thats making bold claims about their superior intellect I cant understand why you cant comprehend what sort of criticism im refering to.

I agree, sarcasm is not constructive, however it is still possible to understand what that critique is aimed at. Sometimes the critique is so general, that it can\'t be very constructive.
