updater missing? :|
« on: January 28, 2005, 11:00:31 am »
Hello!

After trying lots of solutions, I have reverted to the install script from the homepage, as this is the only way I can get ps to do anything at all. Problem is, it tells me that I have to update to get meshes during character creation. So far so good.

But - where is the updater? update tells me:
Quote
./update: line 5: ./updater: No such file or directory

I can\'t find a program called updater anywhere. It was there in the rpm of ps, but when I copry that from the rpm to the planeshift install dir and run it, it just tells me:
Quote
planeshift.updater.application:
  No iEngine plugin!
Failed to init Crystal Space for app!

So now I\'m at a complete loss as to how to get the art files that are necessary to run ps... any help, anybody?

[Edit] Oh, I would have forgotten: I\'m running debian, kernel 2.6.6, if that\'s any help.
