leveling is based on how you handle the weapons (skill)


we are a guild that would like to encourage the growth of our nubs, and we will engage in many wars as we grow in players

Ok mmm where to start...

A) Explain alot more if you want to be a respected and recognized guild.  (Ranks,Rules,Beliefs,Goals,Website/forums..)

B) A military based guild should be and usually would be organized and this seems to be a \"Hi I am guild leader I want to build a army to be all powerful msg me ASL!\" type of campaign. If you want to roleplay this, I suggest you actually put more then the first thought that comes in your head and show some effort.

C) dragonfire999? Is there a reason for numbers in your name is there any RolePlay in that, perhaps if so explain it if not change it?

From what you\'ve shown I would say don\'t start this guild wait until you actually thought it through because it looks like a crash and burn. No roleplay represented..you could do better please show it.

****ABOUT THE GUILD*****

Rules-

 no swearing, l337ing, noobie bashing, hacking or any other illegal things that go against the rules of the game (face a possible ban from the guild, or at the least a serious warning)

Ranks-

Recruit- in the guild
Soldier-registered at our boards(http://pssoldiers.proboards40.com/index.cgi) at least level 5 in a weapon, or level 2 in a magic school

Warrior- level 10 in a weapon, or 5 in a magic school. at least 1 day in guild

Officer-level 20 in   a weapon or level 10 in a magic way, 1 week in guild

General- level 30  in a weapon or 15 in a magic school. trusted by members. must be voted on in the forums

Colonel-level 40 in a weapon or level 20+ in a way of magic. must be privately discussed by council members in a private poll.

Council Member- an active month in the guild, and high battle skills. able to make good decsisions (sp?)

Council Leader- a council member who has shown great dedication to the developement of our squad may be elected to a leader of the guild. in any case that I may be thrown out of control, banned, or anything else,(highly unlikely) during my absence this person will make descisions for the guild and its members


Beliefs- None supported, free religion as that is not the guild orientation

Goals- become a force that supports certain events, possibly to keep streets safe, important figures, such as a policing guild would do. in the case a raid from The Stone Labyryinths would happen, our men/women would be on the battlefield fighting for the city.

If you are talking about your guilds name, then you do that yourself by going into the guild info that is on the top row of buttons... If you are talking about your name then ask Cad or one of the other GMs.  

BTW do you have a site yet or just forums?

Anyway, after that little diversion from the topic, lets get back to it.

If anyone is interested at all in the Soldiers of Hydlaa, feel free to message me (Alamar in game, its the same...I know).  I will explain it to the best of my ability, as will the rest of the guild.

If you care about the rping aspect, that is fantastic.  We encourage that as well!

Yes this is my 1st post I wasn\'t sure if I was going to register here or just support my guild through my work and effort.
However I can see that there is a great need to belong to the forums here also.

 Lets see... I am one of the soldiers of Hydlaa and can say that we come from all corners of this planet. Wether a Dwarf, Diaboli, Enkidukai or whatever you may be, we welcome and will train all.

 I am not wanting to slander other guilds, however I have newb\'s coming up to me all the time asking me how to get here? what kind of money is there? and so on, belonging to a guild. I ask them didn\'t one of your guild members take time to train you??? 95% of the time the answer has been no!!

I am at the arena most of the time and if you are  looking for a guild to join, want some answers or just wanna chat add me to your list and talk to me. If I am online I\'d be happy to help.

I completely agree with you.  When guilds take in a person, no matter the skill level,  help them with whatever they need.  The SoR has tried to do the same.  I personally took around many newbie players to get them started.  No strings were attached though some did join the guild and we are better off for it.  We have become closer together in game and in real life.  Thats the better experience.. meeting new people from all over the world and becoming friends.  That will keep me playing this game till the end because we rely on one another and I will not let a friend down.
