latest updater

hi,
im running ps on linux. the game runs, but the updater says
that my updaters verion is older than the one on the server and i have to ownload the latest updater manually either from the mainpage or the forums. but i cant find any updater file on both.
can anyone tell me where i can find the latest updater?

Since you are using the linux version you\'ll have to compile your own as no binary package is available yet.

CVS still seems to be down so it doesn\'t look like getting a newer version of updater is possible at the moment... unless someone can post a cvs snapshot?

I\'ve just downloaded v.0.3.006 (linux)
compiled;
executed, but the client says that I\'m not running the correct version (the server is: Laanx).

completed update;
re-executed, but the client says that I\'m not running the correct version (the server is: Laanx).
I executed \"update-code\", and it has downloaded cel,cal3d ad crystal, but not planeshift, due to a \"connection refused\" error during cvs login.

What can I do now ?

Theres not much that can be done until Sourceforge has fixed their CVS access unfortunately. This has been a problem for about 2 days now, and has stopped anyone accessing planeshift code via CVS, even the developers I assume. Thats no fun :(

I know the GNU people run a similar service to Sourceforge called Savannah. I dont how how well it scales or how well it will meet the demands of the dev team, but maybe its time to look at a backup service or secondary CVS host for Planeshift if sourceforge are becoming unreliable.

The Bitkeeper people also do something similar, this is a proprietry alternative to CVS, and is used to manage the Linux kernel, among other projects.
