Server not ON?
« on: February 10, 2005, 08:56:56 pm »
My windows verson of planeshift is not updateing, I am using XP and the up dater sais it is getting an empty reply from the server.

Downloading registry from http://www.planeshift.it/updater/repository.xml.
done.
Couldn\'t download updateregistry from server:
Error while downloading: Empty reply from server

Press any key to continue.

I also tried to just connect without updating, but it sais that the server is off or something to that affect.  Whats all this mean, and is there a way I can fix it or am I waiting for the server to have its switch flipped ON?

Thanks for any help
does it really matter, does it really anti-matter?

The updater server is definitely up (I\'m browsing the repository now) and the game server appears to be up as well. It may have crashed for a few minutes as they were mentioning problems a few days ago. Try again and see if it works now.

Well I got the updater to work, but plane shift is saying that the server still is not running, or is not reachable. Please check forums for bla bla bla. . .   I havent updated since early december, but it has updated now. . . i should be able to play the updated version of planshift right?  or do i just suck at life?

The server is currently offline, check this site:
http://laanx.fragnetics.com

Oh, wait, the message that the server is offline is still there, but the stats say there are 71 people online, so apparently the server is online again.

Yeah, sorry Harkin, I saw this message:
\"Currently in the progress of fixing now. Not exactly sure what is wrong so no ETA on uptime yet. \"

I am just a figment of you imagination and a byproduct of the worse accident ever... ... or so my mommy says!
Imagine your life ripped to hundreds of shreds, then think about how you just stepped in poo, welcome to my world.
