i beleive you have to train in the body development skill to raise your hp(and i dont THINK that this is implemented yet)

No, and I think I\'ve been killed about three times since I trained up. Has this skill been disabled, or was I premature in discarding my shield?

Addendum: I see the problem now. To practice Light Armour, you have to use Defensive or Defensive-Attack modes, and you apparently have to take several hits to get a practice point. I was mainly cracking clackers in the dungeons, using Agressive mode just to save time :rolleyes:

light armor skill works for me. Also, now that they\'ve implemented the weight limit on items, increasing STR increases your weight carry ability by 1.5 per level. After increasing my STR by 3 levels I noticed I got 1 point of HP.

Maybe you attacked at a bloody or aggressive stance. light armor only works for me at a more defending stance. Also stronger monsters still hit you as easy as they used to at least if your skill isn\'t that high yet.

I\'ve gotten up to about 18 in light armor now, and there are still monsters that will rip through me, but most things in the sewer won\'t touch me even in a bloody stance. The more you train your light armor up, the less you\'ll get hit.

About \"Light armor\":

Buy some leather outfit - e.g. here:

- Boralis Voladrand (Hydlaa, uptown, above the gate to the woods) has 5 kinds;
- Toda Ombretis (Ojaveda, market, right side) has 2 kinds.

These leather pieces, when worn, will help raising the chance of blocking an attack.
__

Furthermore:

There are 6 glyphs available, and trainers for at least the 4 ways I know from the begining; why shall other ways not work?

The armour skill works like this: if the attacker has a lower attack level than your armour levell then you will block some of his hits, if you have a much higher armour level than his attack you will block every hit. For example at lvl 50 LA you will be imprevious to the attack of some rougues, wild tefusangs and everything that hits lower than those. Btw, try Boralis, he sells LA so the question \"without armour how can the light armour skill work?\" comes from lack of exploring...

No Eolius, that question comes from an age before armor was for sale :) I remember it well, and arguing then that armor does have an effect.

As for skill, daggers + knives can now be trained. there are a few others waiting for the right items to be available, but we will see when they become really available.
